Our passion for furniture and aesthetics combined with an experienced team, creativity and enthusiasm position us to create stylish, unforgettable event experiences for all clients – large and small.

We supply trending furniture to South Africa’s leading events, exhibitions, conferences, music concerts, gala’s, festivals, weddings, fashion shows, high profile sporting and corporate hospitality events. Our wide range of hire furniture is suitable for anything from expos to banquets, as well home events such as birthday parties, family gatherings and kids parties.

As voted by industry peers, Inspire Furniture was awarded the EXSA 2016 and 2017 EXSA-LLENCE Award for Best Supplier Employee in the Furniture Hire Category.

Theo Heads up Inspire Furniture Nationally. He brings to the team advanced experience in all aspects of the hospitality , events and the exhibitions industry. A strong Operational Manager in Front and Back of House with clients such as Durban July, Nedbank Golf Challenge, SCC, ICC and Grand White. With 25 years of experience in the hospitality industry he has International experience from the UK and South Africa.

Theo’s passion in life is: Work satisfaction, passion for customer service, marketing and sales and to create a “WOW” factor for his internal and external clients.

With 11 years’ experience gained from working at Inspire, Gibson runs our client event sites - spanning full set up and break down services at our events and exhibitions. Gibson is committed to our business based on Inspire’s ability to deliver the best quality and customer service.

Since joining Inspire in 2014, Vengai has progressively worked his way up to Johannesburg Operations Manager. Under his watch is the full turnkey Johannesburg operation, including quality control, national dispatch and collections and providing daily management and guidance to approximately 100 staff members.

With a decade’s experience in the industry, Val handles Inspires reservations with her natural flair to help people. An out-of-the-box thinker, since joining Inspire Val has been under the guidance of the founding management, ensuring that her skills are market leading.

What is your passion? Helping people

How long have you been in the sector? About 10 years

Why Inspire? I had an amazing mentor: Chad not only taught me how to think out of the box, but how to completely destroy and burn down the box. Working with him is an adventure.

What is your favourite piece of inspire furniture? Definitely the Galaxy lounger. It's a statement piece, like nothing I have ever seen before and always amazes our clients.
Val Mwanandimai, Reservations Manager (JHB)

Granny has been in the eventing industry for 8 years and brings passion and solid account and sales management expertise to the Inspire team. Because Granny loves what she does, her work is always outstanding.

What is your passion? I am so passionate about what I do, and I love and enjoy it very much.

How long have you been in the sector? Eight years in this industry.

Why Inspire? Inspire is my home. Team work is amazing, communication always.

What is your favorite Inspire piece of furniture and why? Pallet Furniture, because you can set it up anywhere.

Since establishing Unlimited Events Group, Alastair has successfully led the 18-year old start-up company a market leader position, with Unlimited Events Group being the preferred eventing supplier to a blue chip companies such as Massmart, Sanofi, Wesbank and Discovery, to name a few.

Chad has 20 years’ experience in the rental industry, having worked in markets including the UK, Australia, USA, Hong Kong, Canada and South Africa. He has extensive experience in the event and exhibition Industry, having worked from the bottom up to top management level. Chad is the co-founder of Inspire Furniture and is active in many industry bodies including the Association of African Exhibition Organisers (AAXO), Event Greening Forum, EXSA, and the South African Association for the Conference Industry (SAACI) as well as sitting on several boards
